China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $103,994,888.
This represents a -12.72 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $622,375,650, accounting for 41.15 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
USA
The USA followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $77,578,574.
This figure indicates a 25.37 percent month-on-month change.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $258,053,034, representing 17.06 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Thailand
Thailand secured the third position in June with imports totaling $11,972,736.
This indicates a -15.01 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of wood and wooden products is $67,873,039, making up 4.49 percent of the total YTD imports.
France
France contributed $11,864,815 worth of wood and wooden products in June.
Notably, France experienced a 46.89 percent month-on-month increase.
France’s year-to-date total for these imports is $48,704,313, accounting for 3.22 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Germany
Germany rounded out the top five import sources with $6,779,516 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 2.64 percent month-on-month increase.
Germany’s year-to-date total for these imports is $28,635,227, representing 1.89 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
