Vietnam exported US$1.47 billion worth of wood and wooden products in March, a 43.63 percent increase from February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Cumulative exports for the first three months of 2025 reached US$3.93 billion. The United States remained the largest market, accounting for over half the total with US$833.47 million in March alone, a 59.56 percent month-on-month rise. Japan and China followed with US$187.19 million and US$150.39 million, respectively. Strong growth was also seen in emerging markets such as Australia, Spain and UAE.
The data suggests a robust recovery in demand for Vietnam’s wooden products, particularly furniture, from major markets as global consumer spending rebounds.
