Vietnam’s non-wood furniture exports rise by 35.65 percent in March

Vietnam’s exports of furniture made from materials other than wood climbed by 35.65 percent in March compared to February, reaching US$319.36 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Total exports of this category for the year have reached US$892.27 million. The majority came from the “Other” subcategory, which accounted for over 96 percent of the total.

Strong growth was recorded in shipments to Australia and Denmark, rising by 51.82 percent and 47.06 percent, respectively. Exports to Malaysia nearly doubled, while Finland and New Zealand also saw robust increases. However, exports to Indonesia and Norway declined significantly.
