Vietnam’s tea exports decline by 27.44 percent in February 2025

Vietnam’s tea exports decreased by 27.44 percent in February compared to January, amounting to US$11.92 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s total tea exports for 2025 have reached US$28.32 million, reflecting a slowdown in demand from key markets.

The decline in exports was primarily driven by a significant 48.85 percent drop in shipments to Pakistan, which accounted for 27.26 percent of total exports. Meanwhile, exports to China and Russia also saw declines, with China’s exports dropping by 29.35 percent. However, exports to Taiwan and Indonesia saw growth, with Taiwan’s exports increasing by 30.24 percent and Indonesia’s rising by 57.25 percent.
