Vietnam’s cement production has shown solid growth in the first two months of 2025. According to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Office of Statistics, the country produced 11.5 million tons of cement in January 2025. In February, this figure decreased slightly to 11.3 million tons.
The cumulative total for the first two months of the year reached 22.7 million tons. This represents a 23.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the year-to-date figure reflects a 6.6 percent increase when compared to the first two months of 2024, indicating continued growth in the cement sector.
Vietnam’s cement production is mainly concentrated in the northern and central regions, where large-scale cement plants are situated, particularly in Quang Ninh and Ha Nam provinces.
