Vietnam imported US$96.74 million worth of soya beans in March, up 22.12 percent from February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This brought the year-to-date total to US$261.90 million.
Despite a 60.18 percent drop from the USA to US$23.80 million, Brazil emerged as the top supplier with shipments worth US$57.38 million. Canada’s exports fell sharply by 76.26 percent, while Argentina supplied US$10.47 million in March. Imports from Cambodia also declined nearly 49 percent.
