Vietnam imported US$345.38 million worth of pharmaceutical products in March, down 4.25 percent from February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Total year-to-date imports reached US$958.42 million.
France led the surge among top suppliers with US$40.66 million in shipments, a 38.49 percent increase. Imports from India and the UK also rose sharply, by 46.39 percent and 47.04 percent respectively. The Netherlands recorded the most dramatic gain, more than doubling its February total. In contrast, imports from the USA fell by 55.02 percent, while Germany and Italy also posted double-digit declines.
