Vietnam’s ores and other minerals products exports rise by 90.76 percent in December

Vietnam’s exports of ores and other minerals products increased by 90.76 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$26.99 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s ores and other minerals products exports total US$215.74 million for 2024.

The rise in exports was primarily driven by a significant increase in shipments to China, which saw a 581.68 percent growth, amounting to US$13.29 million. Exports to Taiwan and Indonesia also showed strong growth, increasing by 88.81 percent and 875.24 percent, respectively.

However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand dropped by 79.43 percent, 82.79 percent, and 28.37 percent, respectively.
