Vietnam’s exports of insulated wires and cables totalled US$305.11 million in November, marking a 2.2 percent decline from October, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. The year-to-date figure for this sector reached US$3.18 billion, reflecting steady performance despite monthly fluctuations.
The USA emerged as the largest importer, purchasing US$88.83 million worth of these products, a 5.96 percent increase compared to the prior month. China followed with imports valued at US$75.12 million, despite an 11.19 percent drop. South Korea showed strong demand, importing US$36.46 million with a notable 7.22 percent rise, while Japan’s imports remained stable at US$29.71 million.
This sector’s resilience highlights the strategic importance of North American and Asian markets, with insulated wires and cables remaining a key export category for Vietnam.
