Vietnam welcomed 9,629 tourists from Poland in November, reflecting a significant month-on-month increase of 6,777 visitors or 237.62 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.
Year-to-date, Polish arrivals reached 43,961, though this marks a sharp decline compared to last year, reflected by a year-on-year growth rate of -100 percent. Despite the annual drop, the substantial growth in November highlights a resurgence of interest from Polish travellers.
Polish tourists are drawn to Vietnam’s blend of cultural and natural attractions, with Hanoi, Halong Bay, and Hoi An being popular destinations. Coastal locations like Phu Quoc and Danang also attract Polish visitors seeking tropical beach experiences.
There are no direct flights between Vietnam and Poland, but airlines such as Qatar Airways, Emirates, and Turkish Airlines offer convenient connecting routes via hubs in Doha, Dubai, and Istanbul. These connections have facilitated the increasing flow of Polish visitors to Vietnam.
The sharp rise in November arrivals reflects a positive recovery trend and Vietnam’s ongoing appeal in the Central European market.
