Vietnam’s glass and glassware exports increase by 22.37 percent in March

Vietnam’s glass and glassware exports rose by 22.37 percent in March compared to February, reaching US$111.72 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date exports reached US$305.42 million, driven by rising demand from key markets, particularly in Southeast Asia and North America.

Shipments to Singapore and the USA, Vietnam’s top two markets for this category, increased by 18.51 percent and 27.49 percent, respectively. Exports to China and the Philippines saw the most dramatic growth, surging by 389.44 percent and 371.40 percent. Meanwhile, exports to Malaysia and Canada declined.
