Vietnam’s exports of fruits and vegetables increased by 15.52 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$529.06 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s fruits and vegetables exports total US$7.15 billion for 2024.
The rise in exports was driven by significant growth in shipments to China, which saw a 26.47 percent increase, amounting to US$298.2 million. Exports to the USA, Taiwan, and Germany also showed strong growth, with increases of 22.21 percent, 60.08 percent, and 112.05 percent, respectively.
However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to Thailand and Japan decreased by 44.88 percent and 20.96 percent, respectively.
