Vietnam’s fishery exports fell to US$917.69 million in November, representing a 10.2 percent decrease compared to October, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date fishery exports amounted to US$9.17 billion, with China leading as the top importer, despite a 14.9 percent month-on-month decline to US$167.41 million. The United States followed, importing US$151.86 million, a significant 22.19 percent drop from the previous month. Japan showed a milder decline of 2.39 percent, while South Korea recorded an increase of 3.82 percent, totalling US$82.98 million in November.
These figures reflect varying demand across major markets, with several experiencing notable declines while others, like South Korea and Australia, showed growth in imports.
