Vietnam’s exports to Hong Kong decline in November

Vietnam exported US$924.76 million worth of goods to Hong Kong in November, marking a 6.59 percent decrease from October, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date exports to Hong Kong reached US$11.26 billion. Computers, electrical products, spare parts, and components dominated, accounting for US$611.18 million in November with a minimal decline of 0.39 percent. Machine, equipment, tools, and instruments followed at US$99.64 million, showing a significant 25.55 percent drop. Conversely, exports of telephones and parts rose by 5.55 percent to US$84.83 million, and footwear surged by 64.85 percent to US$14.23 million.

This data highlights Hong Kong’s sustained demand for Vietnam’s electronic products while reflecting market volatility in other categories.
