Vietnam welcomed 71,014 tourists from India in November, representing a month-on-month increase of 15,112 visitors or 27.03 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.
Year-to-date, Indian arrivals reached 655,922, reflecting a 21.4 percent growth compared to the same period last year. India continues to emerge as an important source market for Vietnam’s tourism sector, with numbers steadily increasing over the past year.
Indian tourists often explore Vietnam’s cultural landmarks in Hanoi, Hoi An, and Hue, as well as scenic beach destinations like Phu Quoc and Danang. The growing appeal of Vietnam as a wedding and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination has also attracted Indian travellers.
Major airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air, and IndiGo operate direct flights connecting cities like Delhi and Mumbai to Vietnam’s major hubs, including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Enhanced air connectivity has been a key factor driving the growth in Indian tourist arrivals.
The strong performance of Indian tourism reflects Vietnam’s growing reputation as a diverse and attractive destination for travellers from South Asia.
