Vietnam’s exports of tyre cord and technical fabrics up 15 percent in March

Vietnam exported US$69.80 million worth of tyre cord fabrics and other technical textiles in March, up 15.20 percent from February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Cumulative exports for the year reached US$191.00 million. The United States was the top destination, importing US$18.61 million in March, followed by South Korea at US$6.96 million and Japan at US$6.19 million. Japan recorded the highest month-on-month growth among key buyers, increasing 96.22 percent. Meanwhile, exports to Thailand dipped by nearly 21 percent.

The rise highlights strong global demand for Vietnam’s industrial-grade fabrics, particularly from North American and Northeast Asian markets.
