Vietnam’s exports of toys, sports requisites, and related parts and accessories reached US$306.85 million in November, a 10.3 percent drop compared to the previous month, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Despite the decline, year-to-date exports in this category totalled US$3.44 billion, underlining robust annual performance.
The USA stood as the dominant market for Vietnam, importing US$140.74 million worth of goods, albeit with a 17.33 percent decline from October. Japan followed with imports valued at US$64.22 million, reflecting a 3.33 percent month-on-month rise. Meanwhile, the UK registered imports of US$17.41 million, while China experienced an 11.19 percent drop to US$13.54 million. Exports to the Netherlands showed a notable decrease of 26.49 percent, amounting to US$5.83 million.
This sector remains crucial, highlighting the significance of North American and Asian markets for Vietnam’s toy and sports requisites exports.
