Vietnam’s culture, entertainment, and tourism prices rises slightly in November

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for culture, entertainment, and tourism in Vietnam increased by 0.11 percent in November compared to October, reaching 2.20 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Statistics Office. This marks a continued upward trend from October’s figure of 2.09 percent.

The sector has demonstrated consistent growth throughout 2024, with September’s CPI at 2.03 percent and a mid-year peak of 2.35 percent in June. Seasonal activities, festivals, and increased tourism demand have been key drivers of the fluctuations observed during the year.

Culture, entertainment, and tourism are vital contributors to Vietnam’s economic and social landscape. The slight increase in November reflects ongoing demand for leisure and cultural activities, underscoring the importance of this sector to domestic and international markets.
