Vietnam’s crude oil exports rose by 4.01 percent in March compared to February, reaching US$128.48 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Total crude oil exports for the year-to-date have hit US$374.61 million. The rise in March was largely driven by a 66.61 percent increase in shipments to Australia, which accounted for nearly 55 percent of total exports.
Exports to Thailand remained relatively stable with a slight decrease of 2.33 percent. In contrast, shipments to Singapore fell sharply by 51.51 percent, despite having surged the previous month.
