Vietnam’s imports of computers, electrical products, spare parts, and components totalled US$11.49 billion in March 2025, reflecting a 10.39 percent increase from February. Year-to-date (YTD) imports reached US$31.64 billion, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
China remained the leading supplier, contributing US$4.00 billion to Vietnam’s imports in March, marking a 26.59 percent increase compared to the previous month. South Korea followed closely with US$3.07 billion, a 6.74 percent rise from February. Imports from Taiwan also saw a significant increase of 13.37 percent, amounting to US$1.62 billion. However, imports from Japan decreased by 9.41 percent, and the USA experienced a 12.05 percent drop in imports compared to February.
