Vietnam’s coffee exports in November totalled US$351.68 million, a significant 35.39 percent increase compared to the previous month, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date exports of coffee reached US$4.93 billion, with Spain being the leading importer at US$409.90 million, reflecting a 44.27 percent increase from October. Italy followed closely with a remarkable 105.14 percent surge, contributing US$402.66 million. The USA, Netherlands, and Japan also remained prominent markets, while exports to the Philippines declined by 21.55 percent.
The overall growth in November underscores Vietnam’s position as a top global coffee exporter. While European markets demonstrated robust demand, fluctuations in some regions signal the importance of diversifying trade strategies. Competitive pricing and enhanced quality control will be pivotal to maintaining this momentum.
