Vietnam’s clinker and cement exports edge down by 0.94 percent in March

Vietnam’s clinker and cement exports dipped slightly by 0.94 percent in March compared to February, totalling US$112.02 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date exports now stand at US$297.99 million, with the Philippines and Bangladesh remaining the top destinations despite month-on-month declines of 9.24 percent and 43.05 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, strong month-on-month growth was recorded in Taiwan, Malaysia, and Laos. Exports to Saudi Arabia resumed after no recorded shipments in February. Peru and Chile, which received exports in February, saw no shipments in March.
