Vietnam imported US$504.72 million worth of cashew nuts in March 2025, marking a significant 101.40 percent month-on-month increase compared to February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. The year-to-date total reached US$924.30 million, with Cambodia being the largest supplier.
Cambodia’s shipments surged by 616.71 percent, amounting to US$432.89 million and accounting for 53.68 percent of Vietnam’s total cashew nut imports. Tanzania, the second-largest supplier, saw imports drop by 56.36 percent, with Vietnam purchasing US$42.93 million. Other major suppliers included Ivory Coast, Indonesia, and Nigeria, though all reported declines compared to the previous month.
