Vietnam’s camera exports rise 15.89 percent in March

Vietnam exported US$609.50 million worth of still image and video cameras in March, up 15.89 percent from February, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date, camera exports have totalled US$1.72 billion, with China and the USA remaining Vietnam’s largest markets, accounting for nearly 72 percent of the total. Exports to China rose by 14.64 percent month-on-month, while shipments to the USA increased by 27.70 percent.

Strong month-on-month growth was also seen in exports to Hong Kong, South Korea, and Canada. Meanwhile, exports to Poland, the Netherlands, Japan, and the Philippines fell in March.
