Vietnam’s exports of still image and video cameras, along with their parts, remained stable in October 2024, with export value recorded at US$707.35 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This shows minimal change compared to September’s US$707.08 million, indicating consistent demand for these products.
Year-to-date performance reflects significant growth. From January to October, Vietnam’s exports in this category totalled US$6.86 billion, an 18.4 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The strong year-to-date growth underscores Vietnam’s competitiveness in the global camera and imaging market, driven by high-quality manufacturing and increasing international demand. The stability in October suggests sustained performance, with opportunities for further expansion as the sector capitalises on technological advancements and market diversification.
