Vietnam’s retail sales for services saw a consistent increase in October, reflecting strong consumer demand and a broadening range of offerings, according to Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade data.
In September, the sector recorded sales of VND 56.56 trillion, equivalent to US$2.23 billion. In October, this rose to VND 57.95 trillion, or US$2.28 billion, showing a month-on-month growth of 2.46 percent.
Year-to-date, the services sector has achieved total retail sales of VND 500.13 trillion, or US$20 billion. This sustained growth underscores the sector’s vital role in driving Vietnam’s retail economy, supported by the expansion of service-oriented businesses and the evolving needs of consumers.
The steady momentum of the services sector highlights its resilience and its importance to Vietnam’s overall economic development.
