Vietnam’s exports of plastic products experienced significant growth in October, with export value reaching US$600.86 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This marks a 15.2 percent increase compared to September, which recorded US$521.74 million, reflecting rising international demand for Vietnamese plastic goods.
Year-to-date figures further highlight strong performance. From January to October, Vietnam exported plastic products valued at US$5.46 billion, a 30.5 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
The consistent year-to-date growth underscores Vietnam’s competitiveness in the global plastics market, driven by quality production and diversified applications. October’s rise reinforces the sector’s critical role in the country’s export portfolio and its potential for continued expansion.
