UK tourist arrivals in Vietnam grow by 32.71 percent in November

Vietnam welcomed 31,398 tourists from the United Kingdom in November, marking a month-on-month increase of 7,739 visitors or 32.71 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.

Year-to-date, UK arrivals reached 279,567, reflecting a 20.3 percent growth compared to the same period last year. The United Kingdom remains one of Vietnam’s key European tourism markets, demonstrating strong post-pandemic recovery.

UK travellers are particularly attracted to Vietnam’s cultural and natural heritage, with popular destinations including Hanoi, Hoi An, and Hue. Additionally, natural wonders like Halong Bay and leisure-focused beach destinations such as Phu Quoc and Nha Trang remain favourite spots for British tourists.

Direct flights between London and Vietnam, operated by carriers such as Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo Airways, enhance connectivity and facilitate travel. The availability of connecting flights through hubs in the Middle East and Southeast Asia also supports travel flows.

The significant growth in UK tourist arrivals highlights Vietnam’s continued success in promoting itself as a diverse and attractive destination for long-haul travellers from Europe.
