Trade: Vietnam exports to Romania fall 27.7 percent in August 2025

Vietnam’s exports to Romania reached US$29.04 million in August, down 27.7 percent from US$40.15 million in July, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date exports stood at US$285.13 million.

The largest category was other products at US$10.29 million, followed by yarn with US$7.11 million and machinery, equipment, tools and instruments with US$2.97 million, though the latter saw a sharp 73.3 percent monthly fall.

Fishery products contributed US$2.83 million, while other means of transportation and parts added US$2.26 million.

Smaller export items included computers and electrical products, coffee, plastics, iron and steel products, and footwear.
