Dairy: Vietnam milk imports fall 18.3 percent in August 2025

Vietnam imported US$105.51 million worth of milk and milk products in August, down 18.3 percent from US$129.21 million in July, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date imports reached US$962.86 million.

New Zealand remained the largest supplier at US$23.99 million, though shipments fell 37.2 percent month-on-month.

Germany followed with US$12.07 million, up 12.7 percent, while the USA recorded US$11.02 million, down 15.9 percent.

Australia supplied US$9.77 million, nearly flat on the month, and Thailand contributed US$5.42 million.

Other key sources included France, Singapore, Poland, Malaysia, and the Netherlands, each supplying between US$3–5 million.

Smaller volumes came from Japan, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Lithuania, Denmark, and Belgium.
