Rubber: Vietnam rubber product imports drop 7.7 percent in August 2025

Vietnam imported US$104.30 million worth of rubber products in August, down 7.7 percent from US$113.03 million in July, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date imports stood at US$810.69 million.

China was the dominant supplier with US$54.80 million, down 5 percent month-on-month and accounting for over half of Vietnam’s total imports.

Japan followed at US$10.88 million, while South Korea supplied US$9.44 million, both seeing declines.

Thailand contributed US$9.04 million, almost flat on the month, and Malaysia recorded US$3.42 million.

Other notable suppliers included Taiwan, the USA, Germany, and India, with smaller shipments from Indonesia, Italy, France, the UK, and several ASEAN and European countries.
