Trade: Vietnam exports to Portugal fall 23.2 percent in August 2025

Vietnam’s exports to Portugal reached US$46.95 million in August, down 23.2 percent from US$61.11 million in July, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date exports stood at US$393.49 million.

Telephones, mobile phones and parts led the category at US$15.56 million, more than doubling from July.

Other products followed at US$14.97 million but declined by 51.7 percent month-on-month.

Computers and electrical products contributed US$6.48 million, while plastics accounted for US$3.41 million.

Coffee exports fell sharply to US$3.30 million, while fishery products dropped to US$2.32 million.

Smaller export items included wood and wooden products at US$724,059 and footwear at US$184,948.
