Vietnam welcomed 11,291 tourists from Spain in November, representing a month-on-month increase of 2,606 visitors or 30.01 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.
Year-to-date, Spanish arrivals reached 84,721, reflecting a 27.2 percent growth compared to the same period last year. Spain continues to be an important European market for Vietnam, with increasing interest in the country’s cultural and natural attractions.
Spanish tourists often visit iconic destinations such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Halong Bay, which offer a blend of history and unique experiences. Beach destinations like Danang and Phu Quoc are also popular among Spanish travellers seeking leisure and relaxation.
Key airlines, including Vietnam Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Emirates, provide indirect flights connecting Madrid and Barcelona to Vietnam via hubs in Doha and Dubai. These convenient connections have facilitated the steady growth in Spanish arrivals.
The strong performance in November underscores Vietnam’s appeal as a destination for European travellers seeking a mix of adventure, culture, and scenic beauty.
