Vietnam welcomed 48,446 tourists from Singapore in November, a significant month-on-month increase of 23,713 visitors or 95.88 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.
Year-to-date, Singaporean arrivals reached 440,895, reflecting modest year-on-year growth of 3.5 percent. The sharp rise in November highlights a strong rebound in regional travel and growing interest in Vietnam as a prime destination for Singaporean travellers.
Singaporean visitors are primarily attracted to vibrant cities like Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi for business and leisure purposes. Other popular destinations include Danang and Hoi An, where tourists enjoy a mix of cultural exploration and beach relaxation.
Key airlines, including Vietnam Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and VietJet Air, operate frequent direct flights between Singapore and major Vietnamese cities. The seamless connectivity and short travel times make Vietnam an appealing option for Singaporeans seeking quick getaways.
The remarkable growth in Singaporean arrivals underscores Vietnam’s appeal as a versatile destination for both leisure and business travellers, further boosting its recovery in the ASEAN tourism market.
