ToggleVietnam’s exports to Poland fell 8 percent month-on-month to US$288.88 million in September 2025, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date exports reached US$2.58 billion.
Computers, electrical products, and spare parts led the category with US$79.12 million, up 4.91 percent from August.
Machinery, equipment, tools, and instruments followed at US$72.88 million, down 3.42 percent.
Telephones and related parts edged up 0.42 percent to US$18.04 million, while iron and steel jumped 46.54 percent to US$6.12 million.
Footwear exports more than doubled to US$9.18 million, and rice surged 122.49 percent to US$676,489.
However, several key items declined, including textiles and garments (-24.14 percent), transport parts (-25.12 percent), and other products (-43.47 percent).

Vietnam—Poland bilateral trade
Vietnam’s trade with Poland slipped in September 2025, with total turnover down 6.33 percent from August to US$332.59 million.
Exports dropped 8 percent to US$288.88 million, while imports increased 6.4 percent to US$43.71 million.
Despite the monthly decline, Vietnam continued to post a strong trade surplus of US$245.18 million for September and US$2.24 billion year-to-date.

Vietnam—Poland trade overview
Vietnam and Poland maintain steady trade relations, strengthened by the EU–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.
Vietnam mainly exports electronics, machinery, textiles, footwear, and agricultural products to Poland, while importing pharmaceuticals, dairy goods, and industrial equipment.
Bilateral trade has grown consistently in recent years, with Poland serving as Vietnam’s key gateway to Central and Eastern Europe.
Both countries continue to promote investment and business partnerships, particularly in manufacturing, food processing, and renewable energy sectors.

Recent developments
Poland ratifies Vietnam–EU investment agreement
The Polish House of Representatives unanimously approved a bill to ratify the EU–Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA) with 422 votes in favour, in October of 2025.
Poland is the 19th country to ratify the agreement with 8 EU member states remaining.
