ToggleVietnam imported milk and milk products to the tune of US$106 million in November, up from US$102 million in October, a change of 3.18 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year to date, Vietnam had imported US$1,269 million worth of milk and milk products by the end of November.
New Zealand accounted for US$35 million worth of Vietnam’s milk and milk products imports in November. This was up from US$27 million in milk and milk products imports in October, a change of 29.72 percent. Year to date, New Zealand has shipped US$374 million worth of milk and milk products to Vietnam.
After New Zealand was Ireland making up US$10 million worth of Vietnam’s milk and milk products imports in November. This was up from US$5 million in milk and milk products imports in October, a change of 96.06 percent. Year to date, Ireland has shipped US$66 million worth of milk and milk products to Vietnam.
Next was Australia contributing US$9 million worth of Vietnam’s milk and milk products imports in November. This was down from US$11 million in milk and milk products imports in October, a change of 18.45 percent. Year to date, Australia has shipped US$110 million worth of milk and milk products to Vietnam.
Following Australia was the USA representing US$8 million worth of Vietnam’s milk and milk products imports in November. This was up from US$8 million in milk and milk products imports in October, a change of 3.39 percent. Year to date, USA has shipped US$110 million worth of milk and milk products to Vietnam.
Rounding out the top five was Thailand constituting US$5 million worth of Vietnam’s milk and milk products imports in November. This was up from US$5 million in milk and milk products imports in October, a change of 3.06 percent. Year to date, Thailand has shipped US$60 million worth of milk and milk products to Vietnam.
