Vietnam recorded 399,150 tourist arrivals from Korea in November, a month-on-month increase of 32,128 visitors or 8.75 percent, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism.
Year-to-date, Korean arrivals reached 4,133,872, representing a 26 percent year-on-year growth. This reaffirms Korea’s position as one of Vietnam’s most significant tourism markets.
Korean tourists are particularly drawn to cultural and scenic destinations such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang, with their unique blend of history, modernity, and leisure. Beach destinations like Phu Quoc and Nha Trang also remain popular for those seeking tropical relaxation.
Airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, Korean Air, VietJet Air, and Asiana Airlines facilitate direct connections between Korea’s major cities—like Seoul, Busan, and Incheon—and Vietnam. These connections ensure seamless travel and contribute to the steady flow of visitors.
The continued rise in Korean tourist numbers highlights the success of Vietnam’s tourism recovery efforts, supported by strong cultural ties and a wide range of attractions catering to diverse interests.
