China
China remained the top origin in July, with import values reaching $109,042,480.
This represents a 4.85 percent month-on-month increase from June.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $731,170,779, accounting for 40.13 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
USA
The USA followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $70,599,055.
This figure indicates a -9.00 percent month-on-month decrease.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $328,656,589, representing 18.04 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Other
The “Other” category secured the third position in July with imports totaling $52,421,337.
This indicates a 16.91 percent month-on-month increase.
The year-to-date contribution for this category is $292,957,555, making up 16.08 percent of the total YTD imports.
Thailand
Thailand contributed $12,460,365 worth of wood and wooden products in July.
Notably, Thailand experienced a 4.07 percent month-on-month increase.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $80,333,404, accounting for 4.41 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
France
France rounded out the top five import origins with $11,467,078 in July imports.
This country saw a -3.35 percent month-on-month decrease.
France’s year-to-date total for these imports is $60,184,409, representing 3.30 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
