This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $1,876,764,236.

The “Other” category was the top contributor in July, with import values reaching $47,675,335.
This represents a significant 22.41 percent month-on-month increase from June.
The year-to-date total for this category stands at $323,650,078, accounting for 17.25 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
India
India followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $40,877,815.
This figure indicates a -10.88 percent month-on-month decrease.
India’s year-to-date total for these imports is $276,652,618, representing 14.74 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Indonesia
Indonesia secured the third position in July with imports totaling $37,298,801.
This indicates a 12.58 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of fishery products is $271,924,180, making up 14.49 percent of the total YTD imports.
Japan
Japan contributed $31,370,218 worth of fishery products in July.
Notably, Japan experienced a 25.32 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $153,992,801, accounting for 8.21 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Norway
Norway rounded out the top five import origins with $27,249,323 in July imports.
This country saw a -16.00 percent month-on-month decrease.
Norway’s year-to-date total for these imports is $202,503,014, representing 10.79 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
