Vietnam welcomed 27,994 tourists from Germany in January, accounting for 1.4 percent of total international arrivals, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Tourism. This represents a 19.3 percent increase from December and a 22.9 percent rise year-on-year.
Tourism between Vietnam and Germany has been steadily growing, supported by strong diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between the two countries. Both nations are becoming increasingly popular as travel destinations for each other’s citizens, with an emphasis on cultural exchange, leisure travel, and business opportunities.
For German tourists, Vietnam offers a diverse range of experiences, including its rich history, vibrant cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Ha Long Bay and Hoi An, and beautiful natural landscapes like the Mekong Delta.
