ToggleVietnam exported fruits and vegetables to the tune of US$794 million in December, up from US$701 million in November, a change of 13.20 percent, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year to date, Vietnam had exported US$8,562 million worth of fruits and vegetables by the end of December.
China accounted for US$523 million worth of Vietnam’s fruits and vegetables exports in December. This was up from US$455 million in fruits and vegetables exports in November, a change of 14.91 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$5,502 million worth of fruits and vegetables to China.
After China was the USA making up US$47 million worth of Vietnam’s fruits and vegetables exports in December. This was up from US$45 million in fruits and vegetables exports in November, a change of 3.96 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$547 million worth of fruits and vegetables to the USA.
Next was South Korea taking US$23 million worth of Vietnam’s fruits and vegetables exports in December. This was up from US$20 million in fruits and vegetables exports in November, a change of 14.47 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$308 million worth of fruits and vegetables to South Korea.
Following South Korea was Japan representing US$17 million worth of Vietnam’s fruits and vegetables exports in December. This was down from US$20 million in fruits and vegetables exports in November, a change of -12.16 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$238 million worth of fruits and vegetables to Japan.
Rounding out the top five was Australia constituting US$15 million worth of Vietnam’s fruits and vegetables exports in December. This was up from US$13 million in fruits and vegetables exports in November, a change of 14.89 percent. Year to date, Vietnam has shipped US$143 million worth of fruits and vegetables to Australia.
