This modest month-on-month decline contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category standing at $470,788,069.
In June 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of petroleum products were:
China
China emerged as the top destination in June, with export values reaching $17,368,614.
This represents a 13.42 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $112,681,182, accounting for 23.93 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest destination, with June exports valued at $14,117,809.
This figure indicates a -40.64 percent month-on-month change.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $122,856,860, representing 26.10 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
Singapore
Singapore secured the third position in June with exports totaling $11,103,462.
This indicates a 23.53 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of petroleum products is $94,763,695, making up 20.13 percent of the total YTD exports.
Cambodia
Cambodia contributed $7,350,173 worth of petroleum products in June.
Notably, Cambodia experienced a significant 90.07 percent month-on-month increase.
Cambodia’s year-to-date total for these exports is $85,454,046, accounting for 18.15 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Laos
Laos rounded out the top five export destinations with $3,398,730 in June exports.
This country saw a substantial 90.87 percent month-on-month increase.
Laos’s year-to-date total for these exports is $11,123,800, representing 2.36 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
