Vietnam produced an estimated 17.1 million tons of cement in June 2025, following a preliminary figure of 16.8 million tons in May, according to data from the National Statistics Office.
Cumulative output for the first six months of 2025 reached 90.0 million tons.
Compared to the same period in 2024, output in June rose by 26.9 percent, while six-month production increased by 14.8 percent.
Vietnam’s cement industry plays a significant role in the country’s construction sector and export economy.
The market includes a mix of state-owned enterprises and private firms, with exports largely going to regional markets in Asia.
Oversupply and energy costs remain ongoing considerations for the sector’s development.
