Despite the overall month-on-month decrease, several countries remain vital suppliers to Vietnam, with the year-to-date total for this product category standing at $517,946,328.
In June 2025, the top five sources by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of insecticides, rodenticides and materials were:
China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $40,356,218.
This represents a -0.54 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $233,483,830, accounting for 45.08 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Germany
Germany followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $9,548,112.
This figure indicates a 1.66 percent month-on-month change.
Germany’s year-to-date total for these imports is $33,845,556, representing 6.53 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
India
India secured the third position in June with imports totaling $7,367,456.
This indicates a -32.69 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of insecticides, rodenticides and materials is $64,332,326, making up 12.42 percent of the total YTD imports.
South Korea
South Korea contributed $5,143,276 worth of insecticides, rodenticides and materials in June.
Notably, South Korea experienced a -41.91 percent month-on-month decrease.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $44,428,095, accounting for 8.58 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Indonesia
Indonesia rounded out the top five import sources with $4,242,102 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 54.86 percent month-on-month increase.
Indonesia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $18,971,561, representing 3.66 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
