Vietnam’s exports of textile, leather, and footwear materials and auxiliaries experienced a decrease in June 2025, reaching $193,494,893, a -5.51 percent decrease compared to May 2025 according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Despite this month-on-month decline, the year-to-date total for this product category stood at $1,165,436,137.
In June 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of textile, leather and footwear materials and auxiliaries were:
Indonesia
Indonesia emerged as the top destination in June, with export values reaching $31,785,296.
This represents a 0.54 percent month-on-month increase from May.
Indonesia’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $191,740,763, accounting for 16.45 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
Cambodia
Cambodia followed closely as the second-largest destination, with June exports valued at $27,060,084.
This figure indicates a -13.58 percent month-on-month change.
Cambodia’s year-to-date total for these exports is $196,732,522, representing 16.88 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
USA
The USA secured the third position in June with exports totaling $21,389,733.
This indicates a -0.70 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of textile, leather and footwear materials and auxiliaries is $103,527,479, making up 8.88 percent of the total YTD exports.
India
India contributed $17,507,842 worth of textile, leather and footwear materials and auxiliaries in June.
Notably, India experienced a -7.35 percent month-on-month decrease.
India’s year-to-date total for these exports is $88,268,413, accounting for 7.57 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
China
China rounded out the top five export destinations with $17,477,515 in June exports.
This country saw a -17.70 percent month-on-month decrease.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports is $115,999,503, representing 9.95 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
