Vietnam imported US$732.22 million worth of cashew nuts in April 2025, up 45.07 percent from March, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Total year-to-date imports reached US$1.66 billion, with Cambodia, Tanzania and Ghana as the largest suppliers.
Country highlights:
- Cambodia remained the top source, supplying US$655.30 million in April, up 51.38 percent month-on-month, and accounting for 69.47 percent of total year-to-date imports.
- Tanzania sent US$10.84 million, down sharply by 74.75 percent from March, but still made up 14.55 percent of YTD imports.
- Ghana exported US$20.45 million, a dramatic 1514.8 percent jump from March, reaching 1.39 percent of YTD imports.
- Nigeria followed with US$11.77 million, up 258.18 percent month-on-month.
- Ivory Coast contributed US$4.58 million in April, up 22.79 percent.
- Indonesia shipments dropped 79.17 percent to just US$739,007.
