Brazil was the top origin in July, with import values reaching $88,779,793.
This represents a significant 36.34 percent month-on-month increase from June.
Brazil’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $502,439,200, accounting for 27.60 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Australia
Australia followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $79,004,891.
This figure indicates a -6.41 percent month-on-month decrease.
Australia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $721,443,004, representing 39.63 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Other
The “Other” category secured the third position in July with imports totaling $32,377,679.
This indicates a -36.86 percent month-on-month decrease.
The year-to-date contribution for this category is $251,847,598, making up 13.84 percent of the total YTD imports.
Canada
Canada contributed $18,683,895 worth of ores and other minerals in July.
Notably, Canada experienced a massive 5103.51 percent month-on-month increase.
Canada’s year-to-date total for these imports is $20,265,992, accounting for 1.11 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Russia
Russia rounded out the top five import origins with $17,221,206 in July imports.
This country saw a remarkable 1264.57 percent month-on-month increase.
Russia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $33,042,473, representing 1.82 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
