Vietnam produced 127.12 thousand tons of aluminium production in October, up 2.83 percent from 123.62 thousand tons in September, according to the latest data from the National Statistics Office.
Over the first ten months of the year, output reached 1,240.44 thousand tons.
Vietnam’s aluminium industry
Vietnam’s aluminium industry has expanded rapidly over the past decade, driven by rising domestic demand from construction, packaging and manufacturing.
The sector also benefits from increasing foreign investment in extrusion, rolling and processing facilities that supply both the local market and export partners.
Vietnam has strengthened its upstream capacity through bauxite mining and alumina refining projects, though environmental and logistical challenges remain significant.
