Vietnam’s exports of fruits and vegetables saw a slight decrease in July 2025, reaching $764,843,531, a 5.21 percent decrease compared to June 2025, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Despite the month-on-month decline, this product category’s year-to-date total stands at $3,868,866,220.
In July 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of fruits and vegetables were:
China
China was the top destination in July, with export values reaching $481,881,434.
This represents an 8.38 percent month-on-month decrease from June.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $2,114,249,195, accounting for 54.65 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
USA
The USA followed as the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $54,346,636.
This figure indicates a 0.81 percent month-on-month increase.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports is $315,871,926, representing 8.16 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in July with exports totaling $26,042,183.
This indicates a -3.53 percent month-on-month decrease.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of fruits and vegetables is $183,726,199, making up 4.75 percent of the total YTD exports.
Japan
Japan contributed $20,048,579 worth of these products in July.
Notably, Japan experienced a -19.14 percent month-on-month decrease.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $141,889,622, accounting for 3.67 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Taiwan
Taiwan rounded out the top five export destinations with $18,793,550 in July exports.
This country saw a 9.05 percent month-on-month increase.
Taiwan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $96,601,993, representing 2.50 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
