Vietnam’s exports of fishery products saw an increase in July 2025, reaching $971,581,934, a 7.21 percent increase compared to June 2025, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $6,083,173,363.
In July 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of fishery products were:
China
China was the top destination in July, with export values reaching $199,812,550.
This represents a 10.30 percent month-on-month increase from June.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $1,203,745,086, accounting for 19.79 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
USA
The USA followed as the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $149,703,376.
This figure indicates a 13.65 percent month-on-month increase.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports is $1,047,470,653, representing 17.22 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
Japan
Japan secured the third position in July with exports totaling $138,814,191.
This indicates a -7.35 percent month-on-month decrease.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of fishery products is $920,969,702, making up 15.14 percent of the total YTD exports.
South Korea
South Korea contributed $76,334,828 worth of these products in July.
Notably, South Korea experienced an 11.87 percent month-on-month increase.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $460,947,349, accounting for 7.58 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
UK
The UK rounded out the top five export destinations with $33,243,476 in July exports.
This country saw a 1.00 percent month-on-month increase.
The UK’s year-to-date total for these exports is $186,165,156, representing 3.06 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
